I’ve come to believe that’s the perfect image for Astoria.
Every day, people arrive seeking rest, connection, healing, or simply a moment to slow down. They leave refreshed, but what many don’t realize is that their visit, and the generosity of supporters like you, creates ripples that extend well beyond our hot springs.
As one of only a handful of nonprofit-operated hot springs in the United States, Astoria is truly unique. Every donation is reinvested into our mission of providing equitable access to natural resources for education, well-being, and a sense of belonging for all. That means your support creates opportunities for neighbors, families, and future generations.
Last year alone, your generosity helped provide more than $150,000 in Access Fund experiences, making the restorative benefits of Astoria available to people who otherwise may not have been able to visit. Your support has also helped us address one of our community’s greatest challenges by creating workforce housing that is now home to one Astoria employee and three additional community members. These are just two examples of how a single act of generosity can continue to ripple outward.
Those ripples reach even farther. They support environmental stewardship and conservation efforts, educational programs that inspire curiosity about the natural world, and a welcoming gathering place where people from all walks of life can connect with each other and with nature.
