Thanks to your support, we’ve made major strides in Astoria’s renewal — and we’re excited to welcome you back to a refreshed and thriving park June 6th!
While our pools were temporarily closed, our incredible staff and partners were hard at work behind the scenes. Because of your generosity — and the dedication of this community — we accomplished vital improvements, including:
- • Resurfacing the Leisure Pool for a safer and more enjoyable soak
- • Grading the parking lot for better access
- • Weeding and tending to the garden beds to restore natural beauty
- • Progress toward sustainability certification to steward our resources wisely
- • Deep cleaning and organizing the Welcome Center and Johnny Counts Cabin to better serve our visitors.
These projects reflect the care and devotion of the Astoria team, who bring our mission to life every day. I have renewed confidence and deep gratitude for the people who steward this special place and uphold its role as a community resource for wellness, connection, and healing.
Thank you for investing in this chapter of Astoria’s story. Because of you, we continue to grow stronger, together. But, as always, there’s more work to do.
