MAGIC THROUGH THE WINDOW ✨

Dear Friends,

The windows are in, the stone trim is being placed, and the black steel roofing is nearly complete. Soon, our employee housing will be move-in ready — and up to four Astoria team members will call this magical place home. With a commute of just .22 miles to work, they’ll not only support our day-to-day operations, but also serve as on-site stewards of this rare, 100-acre sanctuary along the Wild & Scenic Snake River.

I often wonder: what glimmers will they see each day through those new windows?

🦌 Wildlife migrating across the meadow.

🐦 Ninety-seven species of birds darting through cottonwoods.

🌿 Native plants and trees swaying in the Wyoming wind.

They’ll witness daily what Astoria offers our community — not just a hot spring, but a place where nature, wellness, and human connection come together.

The hot springs remain our anchor: a calming space where people recognize joy, awe, and renewal. But as we complete this critical housing and facilities building and look ahead to the full build-out of Astoria Park, we’re creating something even greater: more trails, more habitat, more places for reflection and gathering, and more opportunities for glimmers of wonder. This work was supported entirely through donors through our Campaign for Community Connection and two Community Foundation of Jackson Hole Opportunity Grants.

When I first imagined Astoria’s future, I dreamed of it becoming a hub for healing, education, and stewardship. Thanks to your generosity and belief in this mission, that vision is taking shape — one stone, one window, one trail at a time.

With gratitude,

Paige
