Astoria awarded Catalyst Grant
We are thrilled to share that Astoria Park Conservancy has been awarded a $35,000 Catalyst Grant from the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, focused on Enhancing Community Support Through Behavioral Health Initiatives. This generous investment allows us to deepen our commitment to accessible, preventative wellness programming and to expand offerings that support mental, emotional, and behavioral health across our community.
With the help of this funding, Astoria is able to offer a robust year-long slate of wellness and behavioral health–focused programs designed to reduce barriers to care, foster connection, and create space for rest, reflection, and resilience. These programs intentionally combine evidence-informed practices – such as mindfulness, breathwork, and somatic wellness with the healing power of hot springs soaking.
We are deeply grateful to the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole for recognizing the importance of upstream mental health support and for partnering with us to strengthen community well-being.

2026 Mental Health Awareness Month (MHAM)
For the fifth year in a row, Astoria Park Conservancy is preparing to recognize May as Mental Health Awareness Month (MHAM), offering a rich lineup of events and programs designed to promote mental well-being. This includes $5 hot springs soaks for local residents in May*.
(*$5 soak plus tax for local residents, excludes weekends, holidays, and closures. Available Monday–Friday during May.)
This Catalyst Grant supports Astoria’s belief that behavioral health care can be preventative, community-based, and restorative. We are honored to steward this funding in service of creating inclusive, healing spaces where our community can reconnect – to themselves, to one another, and to the natural environment that surrounds us.
About the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole
The Community Foundation of Jackson Hole has a mission of improving lives through philanthropic leadership. This includes acting as a leader, catalyst, and resource for our community. We make grants, provide excellent donor services, and ensure the sustainability of our philanthropic community. We do these things well because we listen to our community. We are committed to opening our minds to possibility. This has led us to launching three community-wide initiatives that focus on the root causes of community challenges, including Behavioral Health, Housing Solutions, and Education and Families. Our team is smart and flexible, but that is not as important to us as our desire to create a supportive environment where we can make meaningful change with our nonprofit partners, and in turn, the community at large. We talk things through, and then we innovate and implement them. We believe in connection, collaboration, compassion, and curiosity. More information at www.cfjacksonhole.org
