2026 Wellness Programs Announced

Astoria Park Conservancy, known for its healing hot springs and immersive natural setting, is pleased to announce its 2026 Wellness Program lineup, reaffirming its commitment to accessible, community-centered well-being. Longstanding partners Medicine Wheel Wellness and Rooted Mind Wyoming return to lead a variety of thoughtfully curated classes and retreats throughout the year.

The 2026 season begins with a Morning Meditation and Soak on Sunday, January 4, 2026. These monthly wellness programs are open to the public and each experience uniquely includes time to soak in Astoria’s mineral-rich hot springs, an integral part of the healing journey.

Astoria’s wellness offerings are designed to cultivate balance, resilience, and connection. By weaving together yoga, meditation, breathwork, and nature immersion, participants are invited to slow down and reconnect with themselves and their surroundings. The addition of hot springs soaking enhances these experiences, as warm water naturally supports relaxation, stress relief, and nervous system regulation.

At Astoria, we believe that wellness tools should be accessible and empowering. Through guided practices rooted in mindfulness and embodied awareness, participants gain skills they can carry into daily life to support emotional health and overall well-being.

In addition to public programming, Astoria continues its Frontline Resilience initiative – monthly wellness experiences offered at no cost to organizations that provide essential health, safety, and social services in our region. Funded in 2026 by a Behavioral Health Initiative Grant from the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, this program serves more than 20 local organizations whose staff provide critical care to some of the community’s most vulnerable members. These offerings honor and support the individuals who form the backbone of our community by reconnecting them with rest, nature, and restoration.

Building on this work, Astoria is also expanding its Behavioral Health offerings in 2026 with the launch of Provider Pause – a complimentary wellness program designed specifically for mental health care professionals at risk of burnout. Similar in spirit to Frontline Resilience, Provider Pause offers restorative practices, facilitated wellness sessions, and dedicated time in the hot springs, creating space for providers to step back from constant demands, restore energy, and reconnect with peers.

By supporting the well-being of those who care for others, Provider Pause helps strengthen the community’s overall behavioral health capacity – reducing workforce attrition while fostering resilience and sustainability within the field. Grant funding from the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole allows Astoria to scale this pilot program through quarterly Provider Pause sessions, professional facilitation, program coordination, space support, and a Mental Health Care Family Takeover Day, ensuring broader and more consistent access for providers and their families.

Since opening in 2020, Astoria has welcomed more than 200,000 visitors to its hot springs sanctuary overlooking the Snake River in Snake River Canyon. This special place offers a setting where people can soak, reflect, and connect, both with nature and with one another.
