Astoria’s Local Impact: Restoration + Connection

At Astoria, we know that the entire community experiences tectonic shifts in their life at one time or another and are in need of a place to restore. We also know that mental health is directly attached to feeling connected to combat loneliness, and that parks statistically increase mental and physical health outcomes. That is why we work tirelessly to ensure access to Astoria Hot Springs and Park for all and programs to create meaningful connections.

“I am so grateful to be able to enjoy my experience at Astoria during a complimentary critical service provider program. Starting the session with a guided meditation opened my heart and mind to be able to really relax and rejuvenate as I soaked in a beautiful setting.”

We hope stories like these will inspire you to support Astoria Park Conservancy during this year’s Old Bill’s Fun Run event. Your Old Bill’s gift will allow us to provide restorative wellness to all community members, not only the elite. Thank you for your generosity and belief in our work.

During this year’s Old Bill’s Fun Run giving season, we’ll be sharing many of the highlights of our programs, partnerships, and people that help us envision an Astoria that encourages time spent to foster healthier and happier individuals and a more broadly connected community.
