“Mindful Me” with Rooted Mind

Astoria Park Conservancy and Rooted Mind present “Mindful Me,” a complimentary kids’ mindfulness program for kids and their parents. Together, families will explore simple, fun, and age-appropriate mindfulness practices that help children build focus and emotional awareness. Parents will have the chance to learn alongside their kids, practicing activities they can continue at home to support everyday well-being.
Date: Saturday, May 10th
Time: 10 a.m.- 11 a.m. Mindfulness Program in the cabin, 11:00 a.m.- 12:45 p.m. Complimentary soak for all (kiddo plus one adult)
Location: Astoria Hot Springs & Park, Johnny Counts Cabin
Details:
-This program is designed for children 5-8 years old!
-Space is limited to 12 kids and one adult/guardian. The program will take place in the Johnny Counts Cabin. Please meet outside the cabin a few minutes before the program.
-One child and one adult attending the mindfulness program will receive a complimentary soak after the program, which will only be available during the 11:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. session.

There are changing rooms you are welcome to use to transition into your soaking attire.

No dogs are allowed anywhere on our premises, including the parking lot and grounds on this side of the red bridge. This is a requirement of Teton County, as Astoria is located in a wildlife corridor.
