Mini & Me Swim Lessons
May 11, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
An event every 4 weeks that begins at 10:00 am on Wednesday, repeating until May 11, 2022
Join Astoria Park Conservancy and Jackson Hole Swimming for Mini and Me swim lessons at Astoria! Classes will be capped at 6 pairs of parent/guardian and child groups per session and will take place on the second Wednesday of each month. Enjoy a soak in the hot springs before or after your lesson to spend time with family, friends, and increase your child’s comfort in the water! Classes are challenging with activities that motivate children to want to perform and learn to swim. We are excited to meet you and your children and have a great summer of swimming!
Tickets include one child and one guardian. If an additional adult would like to participate, they must purchase a regular pool pass ticket for the 9am session.
Please note: spending time in hot springs can cause dehydration and overheating, especially for small children. We recommend coming to these programs hydrated and prepared by reading about our hot springs safety tips.
3 – 5 year olds:
This class will take place from 10:30 – 11:00 am and focus on going under water, tummy/ back floats, blowing bubbles and gaining confidence in water situations. This class is for children who are ready to learn how to be in a class setting without a parent.
2 years and under:
This class will take place from 10:00 – 10:30 am and will focus on under water submersion, assisted back floats, water acclimation and having fun in the water. This class is for young swimmers and their parents together.
Are our program fees prohibitive to you? Please reach out to carolyn@astoriapark.org to learn about our no questions asked subsidized pricing policy.
