“Mindful Me” with Rooted Mind

Join us for “Mindful Me,” a complimentary program for kids to practice mindfulness. 
Date: Sunday, October 13th
Time: 10:15a-10:45a and 11a-11:30a; soak for all (kiddo plus one adult) after their program from 11a-12:45p
Location: Astoria Hot Springs & Park, Johnny Counts Cabin
Details:
Kids will explore the brain, body, and emotions through mindfulness during two programs:

PROGRAM 1: 10:15a-10:45a, ages 3-6 years old: mindfulness stories, games, activities

PROGRAM 2: 11a-11:30a, ages 7-10 years old: learn about the brain and an introduction to mindfulness & meditation. 

Space is limited to 10 kids per program and one adult/guardian. The program will take place in the Johnny Counts Cabin. Please meet outside the cabin a few minutes before the program you want to attend.

One child and one adult attending the mindfulness program will receive a complimentary soak after the program, which will only occur during the 11 a.m.- 12:45 p.m. session.

General property rules

No dogs are allowed anywhere on our premises, including the parking lot and grounds on this side of the red bridge. This is a requirement of Teton County, as Astoria is located in a wildlife corridor.
