His talent caught attention when he was heard playing an old upright piano at the Hoka Club in Oxford. Following extensive tours across the Southeast with Beanland\, Hermann joined Widespread Panic based in Athens\, Georgia in 1992. He remains a key member\, known for his skills on keyboard and organ\, as well as his distinctive lead vocals covering New Orleans jazz\, blues\, and gospel-inspired originals. \nHermann draws inspiration from artists like Professor Longhair\, Otis Spann\, Junior Kimbrough\, and Otha Turner. DESCRIPTION:Women’s Health Series \nWith Emily Bodner\, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner\, APRN\, and PMHNP\n  \nSaturday\, May 18th\, 9:30-11a: Mental Health during the Peri and Post Partum Experience: \na discussion to create understanding and inner peace. This will focus on what symptoms you or your family should be concerned about\, when to ask for help\, where to go and options available. \n  \nSaturday\, September 21st\, 9:30-11a: Perimenopause and Menopause:  \na discussion to educate you on the signs and symptoms women may experience as they age. Learn the causes for some of your symptoms\, how to address them and when medical intervention may be helpful.  \n  \nSaturday\, November 2nd 9:30-11a: Body image and Resilience: \nBody image is a common problem women experience throughout their lives. This event will discuss common symptoms or signs people may experience or exhibit\, how to provide support within the family\, basic nutrition\, and external resources to utilize if more help is needed. \nSpace is limited\, so sign up today by emailing carolyn@astoriapark.org \nAll programs are FREE and include hot springs soak after the discussion \n  \nAbout Emily Bodner:\nEmily is a Board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a specialty training in Women’s Mental Health. Emily seeks to work collaboratively with patients to create holistic\, evidence-based treatment strategies. She is committed to responsible medication management and has a deep interest in psychopharmacology. She often combines with psychotherapy and mindfulness techniques to help her patients achieve long term success. \n  \nThis program is funded in part by the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole. \n

DESCRIPTION:Morning Meditation Soak with Rooted Mind in partnership with Teton County Health Department \nJoin Astoria Park Conservancy for a special COMPLIMENTARY morning meditation within the soaking pools at Astoria. \nRooted Mind will facilitate this meditation\, focusing on the changes of the season\, and Teton County Health Department will provide information on Seasonal Affective Disorder. \nCheck-in will begin at 8:15 am\nMeditation begins promptly at 8:30 am \nPLEASE BE IN THE RIVER POOL READY TO START AT 8:30 am! \nMeditations will occur 30 minutes before a scheduled soak and end around 9:15 am. Our yoga practice will expand from a Restorative Flow into sun salutations and finalize listening to and feeling the healing vibrations of crystal sound bowls. \nFollowing yoga\, mindfully transition into the soothing natural spring waters where the heat will increase blood circulation\, stimulate removal of toxins\, regulate gland functions and the pores of our skin invite in the natural healing minerals of calcium\, magnesium\, sulfur and chlorides. The buoyancy of the waters and sounds of nature are sure to uplift your body\, ease your mind\, and fill your senses with ease and calm. What a way to start the day! \n$35  includes Yoga/Sound Healing/Soak \n\nProgram: 8:30am – 9:30am\nSoak: 9:30am – 10:45am \n\nPlease bring a water bottle and a yoga mat if you have one.
