DESCRIPTION:Hot Springs Yoga\nSOLD OUT \nEnjoy an afternoon yoga practice within Astoria’s Leisure Pool as we move our bodies in the hot springs’ healing mineral waters at 3pm on Sunday November 7th with Yoga Instructor and Chinese Medicine Practitioner Angela Tong. \nThe class will start promptly at 3pm and we encourage attendees to arrive 15 minutes prior.  \nAttendees will engage in a slow\, restorative and breath centered yoga practice for 30 minutes and then will be free to enjoy the rest of the 2-hour soaking session to unwind\, rest\, or gather with friends and family. DESCRIPTION:Feel The Music – String Quartet \nA simple free afternoon concert\, connecting the wellness benefits of hot springs\, nature\, and art. \nA String Quartet made up of Festival musicians hosted by Education Curator Meaghan Heinrich. Meaghan and the quartet will look at different Classical pieces from Tchaikovsky to Mozart and talk with audiences about the emotions they evoke and why. What emotion did that peice make you feel? Why do you think that is? DESCRIPTION:Elementary camp groups will visit Astoria for a soak as well as a nature walk. Groups will then engage in an art activity creating interpretive signage for the phase 2 park. This program will serve 6 groups\, and a total of 72 kids. \nMiddle school camp groups will visit Astoria for a soak as as an onsite service learning project. Groups will learn about and identify invasive species present on Astorias property. This program will serve 3 groups\, and a total of 36 kids.

DESCRIPTION:The Jackson Hole Children’s Museum will center their Workshop Camp around designing their ideal Nature Playground as Astoria. Playground ideas will be presented to Astoria and discussed as a group with the children. The groups will forage for their own natural materials to build replicas of their ideal Nature Playground\, including one life-size dream element of the playground. \nAPC will gift passes to campers and their families as part of our Access Fund\, engaging our target community of youth and families.
